High Point Area Builders back again for Enduring Gratitude
The High Point Area Builders Association has chosen Enduring Gratitude as their primary project to give back to our community and my hat is off to them for their participation. Over the course of this weekend, spend some time thinking about the young lives spent and sacrifices made for our freedom and our way of life.
Enduring Gratitude is a 501c3 non-profit organization begun in High Point with a mission to provide a memorable outdoor event for service men and women returning from our current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq as an expression of gratitude for their sacrifice in serving our country. Founded three years ago here in High Point, Enduring Gratitude has hosted multiple events for veterans from all over North Carolina and beyond including pheasant, quail, deer, and turkey hunts. The next event at Beaver Pond will be February 2nd with the hopes of providing a great day outdoors for as many as 60 veterans.
