Pheasant Tower shoots are a great way to spend a day in the field with everyone going home with some of the best tasting game birds for the table. The nature of the hunt allows for socializing and provides a great first time experience for newer hunters and a low impact hunt for less able bodied hunters. Dog handlers will be stationed outside the ring of benches to assist with picking up birds.Pheasants are large birds and often fly high out of the tower. Heavy field loads with #6 or #7 shot are recommended. Larger shot is not allowed due to its capability to carry further.
