Midwest Style Hunting Here in North Carolina

One of Beaver Pond’s biggest attractions is the ability to host driven chukar and pheasant hunts. The strip row plantings that cover most of our hunting fields is perfect for pheasant and chukar drives as they’re done in the midwest. We’ve been hosting two chukar drives a month since the season began. The morning begins with biscuits and coffee in the kitchen. We hit the fields by 9AM and hunt until lunchtime. A big lunch in the lodge tastes great after walking the fields all morning. Afterwards you can watch the ball game, shoot some five stand or Caldwell Gallery, sack out on the sofa or go home and spend time with your wife at the mall. Check out photos of the last couple of hunts in the Hunting Photo Gallery.

We’ll be doing a drive every Saturday through the end of the year. Cost is $175 and includes breakfast, the hunt, lunch, and a round of clays afterwards. Call Johnny to reserve your spot.
